This template was designed for the modern day doula and birth professional, with online courses that include private member areas, as well as online consultation and class bookings.

This template works best for those either servicing clients online, or in person. In fact, this template is perfect for those who offer both.

Scheduling

Aquity is hooked up to your template, however, you will need to add in your branding design, adjust some settings, and add in your payment info. Aquity can process your payments for live Classes.

Store

This template does not feature a store. When a client wants to purchase an in-person service, they are directed to your consultation calendar on Aquity. What happens after the meeting is up to you. You can easily add a store page and create a checkout process for each of your in-person services, then direct your client to this link once they’ve decided to go head with your services.

Memberships

Membership areas are being used in this template, as they are a great way to gate specific content for paying members only. This feature does cost extra. The Membership Area will take care of the payment processing, you will just need to add in your payment information. In this template we call these areas “courses.” At the time of creating this template, there was no “course” option, only “membership areas.” We chose to not update this as not all courses will follow the format that Squarespace provides within their course templates. You are welcome to adjust this as you like. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us for support.

Images

The images that you see in our advertised template come from Unsplash (connected to Squarespace), and Lem and June Collections. You are able to use those images within your website, and also you will receive $100 off of our A La Carte Shop to get you started!

Features

• CSS: the only code that is present within this template is the white boarder you see around some images, and a simple animation. Borders rock!! We will show you how to adjust this in you css tab within the CSS Code page. Very simple stuff.

• Four different types of offerings are available for you to customize and use: Courses, Services, Store, and Live Classes. You definitely do not need to use all of them, we just wanted to give you the option for growth.

• Newsletter: Squarespace offers a simple and effective newsletter subscription available for you to activate if/when you’d like. We have added this into the website footer (it wont work till you subscribe to Squarespace newsletter) so it will show up on every page, even blogs.

• Blog: of course you will most likely need a blog, if not now, then some time in your future you may hop the content train. 🤪 This blog is simple, and straightforward.

• Offerings within each page: each page has a ‘Offerings’ section, so that these stay front and centre no matter which page your potential client is on.

• Members area: connected to you Courses page and sign up we have a hidden membership area. Each membership area shows a different way you can offer your courses or other materials, such as: resources, revolving content, and free.
